Gérald Breau of Memramcook passed away at the CHU Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the age of 91. Born on March 8, 1926 in Memramcook East. He was the son of the late Maurice Breau and the late Azèle LeBlanc.
 He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and was a devoted father to his family, and he loved his camp and his garden.
He is survived by his wife Jeannine (Cormier) Breau, four daughters; Linda (Léonard) Richard of Gayton, Sylvia Breau of Gayton, Debbie (Jean-Guy) Goguen of Cap-Pelé, and Brenda (Tim Hicks) Breau of Salisbury; one son Guy (Hélène) Breau of Pré-d’en-Haut; two grandchildren; Mireille and Rebecca, two great-grandchildren; Jérémie and Lucas and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters; Anna, Hectorine, Doris and Lilliane (Lily), three brothers; Léo, Hector, and Léonce.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral service to be held at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Monday March 13 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery
